T-first, a movement not affiliated to any political party or movement or to any religious organization or interest group. It is a think-tank devoted to the analysis of teachers' challenges and of the ways to restore their lost glory in Nigeria.

For a few months, the movement's campaign has come to a  stop nationwide. The decision came following a short meeting, held among the stakeholders of the organization.

The T-first founder, Omar Muaz, on 8th June, confirmed that the movement would resume its campaign soon in full gear across the country.

He, on the T-first official page, wrote, "In these tough days of Coronavirus pandemic, teachers, more especially in private schools experience a lot of payment challenges. For months, a great percentage of them have not seen notifications of alert from their respective employers"

"He added, "There  are states in Nigeria, where teachers' salaries are cut down by a certain percent, according to their pays. This inhumane, self-centered, callous act shouldn't be done to our future builders, teachers. We strictly condemn this act in strong terms and we call on the government to do justice."

The founder continued, "Therefore, soon, Teachers First Movement of Nigeria (T-first) will resume its campaign on her page. Member of the movement should note, however, that resumption date will be communicated via the same medium, as well as the campaign, now E-campaign as a result of COVID-19.

He pulled the knob, finally, by enjoining his members to come back to service in high spirits for the difficult task ahead.
